The monthly all-cause deaths per million have hovered around 708 for 6 years in the USA, but after the COVID shot was released on the American public, monthly death rose to 9 standard deviations above that mean:

A break-point was added for October 2019, because no month from that month onward saw monthly deaths below 700 per million.

Another stark rise in death came from what is dubbed “external causes” in order to form a contrast to “natural causes.” External-cause deaths are from things like accidents, homicides, and suicides, where some abrupt event — often involving volition — led to death.
