All Age Groups in Norway Worse Off Now

When separating excess death by age during 2020 from the excess death by age after 2020, excess deaths in Norway got worse for all age groups:

Those over age 75 show the largest increases from 2020, but the top left graph shows kids being harmed more as time went on, and the all ages excess death at bottom right shows that excess death in Norway was never a big problem until after September 2021.

Comparing each New Year week excess death rate in the all ages group is striking:

2021 (3 Jan 2021): -4%
2022 (2 Jan 2022): +6%
2023 (1 Jan 2023): +30%

COVID wasn’t bad in Norway, but after 2020, things got worse for everyone.
