Are recent Sudden Deaths in Athletes Statistically Significant?

As an addition to other pieces on the recent topic of sudden cardiac death in athletes — such as this one by John Leake who, along with Dr. McCullough, writes
— I found that the Poisson probability of sudden deaths for professional FIFA players late in 2021 was statistically significant.Here are the notes:

And here is a link to a piece which supposedly says that no statistical significance has been found — which would contradict my notes above.
If the 18 deaths in my notes really happened, and if they truly are deaths among the 113,000 registered professional FIFA players, then I found significance though.
