In the USA, cultural Marxists have been attempting a slow-coup. One example of that is that former CIA Director, John Brennan, had voted Communist in his youth (~1980). Having a former-Communist as the Director of your CIA is not something that happens “by accident” — it is what you do when attempting to overthrow your nation.

Those seeking the demise of the American Dream got a big boost in 2001, when some planes somehow got past U.S. Defenses and knocked down two really big buildings. This led to a new act called The Patriot Act, whereby domestic spying would be allowed. Once it became legal for government to pry, everything started changing.

One of the biggest changes to America from the Patriot Act is the demise of Hollywood, falling to cultural Marxists both domestic and foreign (where the concentration of foreign Marxists would be highest in China) as depicted by a time-plot of the best 50 movies which have ever been made:

Notice all of the good movies that had been coming out in the 1990s, before the Communist takeover of Hollywood was completed by around 2014. Five of the top 50 movies of all time (10% of the top 50) were released in 1994 alone.

After 2014 though, good movies became rare. When bad people who do not have your best interests at heart are allowed to have all of the private details of your life, then good things become rare.

We can thank The Patriot Act for that.

In the fight between Capitalists and Communists — or, more appropriately, between Individualists and Collectivists — the Capitalists (Individualists) had been winning for the first 150 years or so, from the advent of The Communist Manifesto in the middle 1800s, right up to The New Deal when FDR took much advice from Uncle Joe (Stalin).

A recent jab at Individualists was thrown by a Chinese Premier at the Summer Davos forum, telling Americans and others to stop being motivated by their own interests, and to allow China to “dump” green economic goods on the world using low-paid labor. The Green Movement, like COVID, is meant to create a captive audience.

Because Communists are not creative or innovative, good things become rare whenever they gain power in the world. To get by, they create solutions and then create the crises which lead to their solutions — so that they can make a buck without actually improving the lives of others (under Capitalism you have to serve others).

The number of facemasks sold by China during COVID is an example of selling something which does nothing to improve the lives of others. The situation at Summer Davos involved electric vehicle and solar panel exports out of China — “solutions” which had been created as the “crisis” of global warming was exploited.

As countries pushed back against the Chinese exports of such green products, they were told by the Chinese Premier to stop being so concerned with their own interests (the welfare of themselves and that of their families), showing how Communists can only ever get ahead by exercising unearned power over others:

“If countries only consider maximizing their own interests, if we ignore the interests of others, and even go back in history and engage in decoupling … it will only raise the economic operating costs of the entire society and the world,” he said.

This will “drag countries … into a vicious cycle of scrambling for a cake that becomes smaller and smaller,” Li added. “This is something that we don’t want to see.”

It shows either ignorance or deception that the Chinese Premier says that Capitalism will lead to the zero-sum game of fighting for a smaller economic pie, because it is Communism — or Collectivism in general — which is the true zero-sum game.

Communism is the “command economy” that leads to less good in the world.

There is a fable that Truth and Deceit were skinny-dipping and Deceit got out of the water first in order to put on Truth’s clothes. That’s because Deceit needs to masquerade itself as the Truth, while the Truth itself is absolutely fine going around naked. The West is like the Truth, and Western Philosophy is truth-centered.

But those who attempt to overthrow the West will keep attempting to use false reasoning to do so: like that Chinese Premier at the Summer Davos forum. Let’s not fall for it. The next time someone tells us that we have to stop being individualistic so that someone else who lacks creativity can sell us something, let’s not buy it.

The next time that a “health official” tells us that a medical product is “mandatory” — so that economic thugs can sell us things which do not improve our lives — let’s not buy it.
