Before the free enterprise system which respects the rights of human beings — i.e., before the United States of America — was put in place, life expectancy stagnated:
But ever since 1880, roughly 100 years since the founding of the USA, life expectancy has been consistently rising. The world life expectancy dip in 1960 reflects the large loss of life in Communist China — a social system which does not respect the rights of human beings.
But in the last several decades, the USA has become progressively less free. Recently, this has created a social benefits crisis, where the promises made to the people by the U.S. government — such as that they will receive adequate Social Security payments after retiring — are now on the verge of being broken.
Even as we cannot afford to continue the welfare state for U.S. citizens, millions of illegal immigrants are flooding into the USA, and they are being given things like travel and housing and prepaid debit cards loaded with up to $1,000 per month — which is 65% of what disabled U.S. workers get from Social Security.
Because there is not enough money to cover the retirements of U.S. citizens in the coming decades, one plan may be to reduce the life expectancy, and recently — especially for those at age 10 — life expectancy has indeed fallen:
In 2021, a 10-year-old could be expected to make it to 77.7 years. But that erases 19 years of progress in life expectancy for kids:
The last time that life expectancy for 10-year-olds had been that low was back in 2002. Something is going on and it is very wrong.
Evidence suggests that the welfare state is causing the United States to go bankrupt, and that that removes the incentive or pressure for the U.S. government to want to help to extend the lives of the American people (because longer life expectancy predicts broken promises will just become evermore extensive).
