One of the nations which took the least amount of COVID mitigation measures was Sweden, but early critics claimed that that’d cause more death. But because Sweden did more than 8 times better at keeping young people alive than the USA, the indication is that nations should not engage in “pandemic preparedness” measures.
By having one of the best track records of all nations in keeping those under age 50 alive, the example that Sweden set for the world is for governments to approach pandemics with a “hands off” strategy — allowing people to figure out for themselves how they would like to respond to the “pandemic.”
Evidence suggests that, the more pandemic measures which governments take, the more that people die. A “hands-off” approach (like in Sweden) does better than the median interventionist approach by nations such as the USA, the UK, and Canada.

Well said. Pandemic preparedness is all about the elite gaining power, and deaths generate fear which help them to gain more power...
