In the USA, using data compiled at the Peterson-KFF Health System Tracker, it is clear that the rate of pregnancy-related mortality has been rising:
Note how the overall rate is dark-blue, and how it has risen from 17.4 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births up to 32.9 per 100,000 — almost doubling in 4 shorts years. Even more disturbing than this mysterious rise across the board for maternal mortality, is how the USA compares to comparable nations:
The USA spends the most money on health care, but it appears that we should have “buyer’s remorse” — because, while we pay more than anywhere else (purportedly to try to stay healthy and alive), our results are very poor. The likely cause of poor results, even when spending the most money, is a captured medical industry (medical fascism).
Efforts should be made to increase medical freedom, especially in the USA, where people are spending and dying and then spending more and dying more, without avail.
