No Detectable Survival Benefit to Health Care
Accumulated Excess Death per 100,000 vs. %-share of GDP spent on Health Care
An intuitive assumption is that, the more and more that you spend on health care, the greater your ability to keep people alive. However, when 186 territories of the world were measured, excess deaths per 100,000 did not drop when health care spending went up.
