Only 9 of 203 regions in the World had unprecedented Increases in Death
Comparison to the Excess Death from 2017/18 Flu Season
The Netherlands had 18% excess death in the 2017/18 flu season. When all 203 regions of the world recorded at the World Bank are examined for their death rate increases in 2020 — beyond the 2019 baseline — only 9 of 203 (<5%) had increases in death which exceeded 18%.
