Preliminary COVID Safety Comparison

Ivermectin vs. Pfizer BNT162b2 -- a 'jumbo jet' worth of difference

NOTE: This Substack post is inspired by recent testimony in Ohio of Dr. Paul Marik.

For this rough comparison of safety between two therapeutics for COVID, some unavoidable assumptions will be made — such as assuming that passive reporting systems capture a true estimate of harm — but the stark contrast between rates of reported adverse drug reactions (ADRs) will still make the rough guess that is provided into something informative.

First up is Ivermectin.

Ivermectin

The World Health Organization’s VigiAccess website shows 7,000 ADRs for Ivermectin counting from the year of 1992 to present:

But this current analysis will only focus on the year of 2020, when ADR frequency was the highest ever:

For the year of 2020, there were 1,423 ADR reports for Ivermectin. And an estimate of doses administered that year is taken from the total of all doses donated to countries fighting river blindness and other health issues:

This crude estimate of doses taken by ~200 countries worldwide — using just those doses which had been donated to less than 50 countries — is 417 million. Then you find the ADR reporting rate per million doses by dividing:

3.4 ADRs per million doses

Next up is Pfizer.

Pfizer BNT162b2

The World Health Organization’s VigiAccess website shows 5 million ADRs for Pfizer BNT162b2, counting from the year of 2021 to present:

But this current analysis will only focus on the year of 2021, when ADR frequency was the highest ever:

For the year of 2021, there were 2,877,851 ADR reports for Pfizer BNT162b2. And an estimate of doses administered that year is taken from the total of all doses reported for 39 individual countries, even including those doses given in 2020:

1,132,989,548 doses (1.1 billion doses)

When put into “millions of doses” — then that 2021 tally becomes 1,132.9895 million.

Then you find the ADR reporting rate per million doses by dividing:

2540 ADRs per million doses

That reporting rate for adverse drug reactions, compared to that for ivermectin, makes COVID mRNA jabs out to be approximately 747 times more dangerous than ivermectin. This vast difference in danger reminds you of a 747 commercial airliner.

If given the option, I’d want to be able to choose the product that is 750 times safer than the competing product. And this would even be true if the “safer” product was only half as effective as the one which is approximately 750 times more dangerous to put into your body.

That hundreds of millions, maybe even billions, of people were not given this choice is a tragedy of unprecedented proportions. There has never before been a time when hundreds of millions were coerced into taking an unecessary risk with their health.
