Public Health spending before COVID
The USA is in danger of a tyranny of public institutions, where the EPA shuts down your business because you haven’t purchased enough “carbon credits”, and the public health administrator tells you that you must stay inside because of a “scary virus.”
Though federal public health spending is not constitutional (not within the 18 tasks laid out for the US federal government), public health spending was already enormous before COVID, as 85 cents of every tax dollar were being spent on various public health schemes:
This is evidence of medical fascism, where the government engages in “public-private partnerships” with various firms such as vaccine manufacturers. Considering how much more was spent during COVID, the only way to fund such medical tyranny is by debasing the currency (by causing inflation).
The US government should get out of the “business” of health care. It was not granted the option to be involved in health care in the original U.S. Constitution. Not only will it bankrupt us, it will (eventually) kill us.
