The Epoch Times published data related to a FOIA request to CDC for the safety signals found in VAERS adverse event reports. But something was overlooked upon the first-pass analysis of those data. In the USA, the Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) is used in order to check VAERS data for safety signals.
If a specific adverse event makes up a large share of all reports made for one vaccine, but that same adverse event doesn’t make up a large shall of all reports for all other vaccines, then that is a potential safety signal. A 2x2 table is used in order to break down the share of all reports made up by one specific adverse event both times:
But while the typical method looks at each and every “specific adverse event (AE),” recording all those where the share of all reports for a “specific vaccine” was twice or more of the share of all reports for “all other vaccines” — you could broaden the signal detection to make it look for a share of all reports that are serious.
When that more-sensitive analysis is performed on the mRNA shots, it throws a safety signal:
Importantly, this signal (the mRNA share is more than twice) is for a wide variety of types of adverse events, but all being serious in nature. It is signalling that mRNA shots are, in general, much more dangerous than all of the other shots that people have taken since 2009.
The signal meets all 3 criteria for being official:
—3 or more events recorded
—ratio of proportions is at least 2.0
—chi-square statistic is at least 4.0
I ran the chi-square test on the numbers and the chi-square statistic was so large that it broke the spreadsheet software and threw a 502 error (in cell M9 of the spreadsheet below).
The p-value (in cell M8 below) on such a large chi-square statistic was not discernable from “zero” — indicating “zero possibility” of witnessing these data if mRNA shots were not inherently more dangerous in the first place:
This was the situation back in July of 2022 — an extremely strong safety signal — yet Senator Ron Johnson received a response from CDC in September 2022 which included a claim of “no additional unexpected safety signals.”
How about a signal that is so strong that it breaks statistics software when analyzed?
