After watching the Vigilant Fox piece where Del Bigtree interviewed ICAN attorney, Aaron Siri, regarding the newly-released V-Safe data, in addition to mentioning some of the more regularly-reported adverse reactions like Bell’s Palsy and shingles, Aaron reported on finding a high rate of heart palpitations.
I ran a search for the string “palpitat” in the raw data, and I got 1873 hits from 345,959 entries — a “reporting percentage share” of 0.54% of all free-text reports. But 11 years of data compiled by the CDC show that the reporting percentage share is supposed to be 0.2% of all reports — indicating a safety signal (over twice the expected share):
At top left you can see that, from 11 years of adverse event reports, just 313 reports were for palpitations (0.2% of the total). For those 11 years, the reporting rate per 10 million net doses delivered was 1.6 palpitation reports per 10 million net doses — but it is unclear if we know just how many doses were taken by those people in V-Safe.
