Bill, I should have been more clear regarding the population here. These deaths were all in those under age 45. An alternative explanation for Fall/Winter of 2020 being low is that COVID jabs in the Euro Area were often prioritized: elderly first.
This explains how the all-cause death for those under age 45 went down, because for the most part, they weren't jabbed in the first month or two after jabs had come out (the elderly were, instead).
After February/March 2021 for the young (i.e., when they began taking jabs) all hell broke loose -- for the first time, ever, in the pandemic.
