Back in 2010, researchers exposed rats to radio-frequency radiation at a power density of 500 micro-Watts per square-centimeter (43.5 V/m) and it created autoimmune issues:

But when researchers checked several brands of cell phones in urban and rural areas, indoors and outdoors, the highest electric field strength at 1 centimeter from the phone during a call was for rural calls made from indoors:

They found an electric field strength of up to 41 Volts per meter (V/m), but that’s disturbingly close to the dose that created autoimmune issues in rats:

Evidence suggests that cell phones — with radiation output either controlled by the owner or by a third party — can play a role in pandemics.
