EVs are certainly not the answer to "climate change". Ugh. Here's something I haven't heard anyone mention about these darn things either: When the last hurricane whipped across Florida a couple weeks ago, Gov DeSantis ordered over 1 million gallons of gas to be shipped down there so people could evacuate. Evacuations in many areas of the country are possible for numerous issues. How in the hell are people going to evacuate with these ridiculous EVs? For one thing, most of us will be without a vehicle (if "they" get their way), and, thousands of people would be frantically trying to charge their EV all at the same time so they would have enough juice to get out of the area. (But don't worry, they will dispatch hundreds of Electric Busses to evacuate people to a sports stadium right?) The fact remains that these monsters don't want people to have the freedom to travel. I know that's just my opinion, but looking at everything together, it sure seems to be what is being planned for us. Unaffordable EVs. Unaffordable Insurance. Unaffordable Licensing fees. Unaffordable and inconvenient "charging" stations. (Etc, etc). If humans are really causing "climate change", the free market would handle this. Just like if "covid" was a *real* pandemic, people would have (on their own) done what was needed to protect themselves and others without any kind of mandate. When things are forced down people's throats it causes many of those people to question what is really going on and, like me, rebel like crazy. It is obvious that there is a sinister agenda at work. I shudder to think of the end result when all of this crap fails down the road. Disaster! But, we will hear the same thing I've heard my entire life, "we need a government solution". Sigh. So frustrating to see this vicious circle over and over again...

I was at America's Tires the other day. A Tesla owner was complaining that her check engine light was on after getting a new tire. Turns out that the old tires rotate slightly faster then the new slightly larger tires. The computer sees this and says there is something wrong. Replacing a flat tire might mean buying 4 new tires every time.
