I'm old enough to have had measles as a kid in junior school. Had just a bit of a rash, maybe a bit hot for a day. My brothers, one older, one younger, didn't get it at the same time. I recall chickenpox more vividly, with the itching and mother dabbing my spots with calomine lotion. Can't remember if brothers got it too. My kids got chickenpox one after the other, toddler and baby. Influenza was named as some influence of the moon or similar, plus many failed trials, even with colds and so called SARSCov2, to try to infect others, so who knows how or why?

Memory lane, I had C-pox as a kid, and Mom put calamine lotion (active ingredient zinc oxide) on the spots, also. Man, was that ever an itchy ordeal!
